Elena Kvasnicka, a junior on the Beecher Varsity Volleyball team, has been named to the Daily Journal All-Area Team. She plays as both an outside and right-side hitter.
Kvasnicka made history as the first Bobcat to record 242 kills and also tallied 191 digs. She was also named River Valley Conference Player of the Year.
Her teammates, Emily Avelar and Mallory Berry, also received Special Mention honors from the Daily Journal.
On December 14, The Daily Journal named six athletes to the All-Area First Team in their respective divisions: Wences Baumgartner, Logan Wilkins, and Tyler Kramer in volleyball; Brooklynn Burdick in track and field; and Noah Berry, Jackson Reece, and Peyton Serafin in golf. Special Mention honors went to Axel Avila and Jimmy Kypuros in volleyball, Allison Sadus in track and field, and Ben Anaclerio in golf. Beecher High congratulates all the athletes on their achievements.
