Franciscan Health has collaborated with the Benton Community Food & Service Co-Op and the Benton Community Foundation to establish the Benton County Diaper Pantry. This initiative aims to provide free baby diapers and adult incontinence products to eligible individuals.

Tristan Kirby, director of the Franciscan Health Prenatal Assistance Program, emphasized the importance of this service: "At Franciscan Health, we understand the critical need families face – one in two U.S. families with young children cannot afford enough diapers to keep their children clean, dry, and healthy." He further expressed gratitude towards their partners for making a positive impact on families experiencing diaper insecurity.

Families in Benton County can access a monthly supply of supplementary diapers by becoming members of the Benton Community Food & Service Co-Op. Membership forms are available at the Co-Op during operating hours or through the Community Action Program office. Details about membership criteria are also accessible online.

The establishment of this diaper pantry was made possible through grant funding from "The Cookie Jar," a women’s giving initiative by the Benton Community Foundation.

The Benton Community Food & Service Co-Op is located at 109 East Smith Street in Oxford. For further information, interested parties can call 765-385-0207 or 765-762-5607 or email bentoncoop@gmail.com.
