Franciscan Health has recently been honored with the 2024 KLAS Arch Collaborative EHR (Electronic Health Record) Experience Breakthrough Recognition from KLAS Research.
This recognition is awarded to healthcare organizations that have significantly improved their Net EHR Experience Score (NEES) by at least 15 points between measurement periods. Franciscan Health was acknowledged in the physician category.
The recognition highlights the marked improvements made by organizations in enhancing the effectiveness of physicians and nurses in using the EHR. It reflects the hard work and dedication to applying collaborative-verified approaches aimed at improving the clinician experience with EHR systems.
"We are proud to have been recognized by KLAS for these gains in physician satisfaction with their EHR experience," said Dr. Joseph Schnecker, Medical Director of Informatics at Franciscan Health. "Our teams continually strive to make the EHR better for our caregivers, and to have that hard work acknowledged is very gratifying. This reflects a win for our physicians and, more importantly, the patients we are entrusted to care for."
The Arch Collaborative is composed of healthcare provider members who draw from the experiences of hundreds of fellow organizations. These insights, which are based on interviews with more than 500,000 clinicians regarding their EHR experience, help identify the most effective, proven strategies that are shared among members. This is the first year the EHR Experience Breakthrough Recognition has been awarded, with additional recognitions planned for the future.
"These organizations recognized with the EHR Experience Breakthrough Recognition for improvement have made significant increases to their physician's or nurse's effectiveness with EHR," said Coray Tate, VP of Clinician Experience for the Arch Collaborative at KLAS Research. "Clinicians at these health systems are benefiting from their hard work to apply collaborative-verified approaches to improving EHR experience."
