Board-certified physician Mohammad Arfeen, DO, has joined the Franciscan Physician Network in Chesterton, Indiana. Dr. Arfeen specializes in interventional gastroenterology and internal medicine and is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Arfeen completed his medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He pursued his residency in internal medicine at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. His fellowship training includes gastroenterology at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields and interventional gastroenterology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
His clinical interests focus on advanced and therapeutic endoscopy, third space endoscopy, complex tissue resection, as well as hepatobiliary and pancreatobiliary endoscopy.
Fluent in Urdu and Hindi, Dr. Arfeen is available for consultations at the Franciscan Emergency Center Chesterton located at 770 Indian Boundary Road. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 219-872-6566.
