Franciscan Health has initiated the construction of a new medical office building in Valparaiso, Indiana. The groundbreaking ceremony was marked by a blessing from The Most Rev. Robert McClory, bishop of the Diocese of Gary.
The facility will be located at 3400 Mariposa Drive, at the intersection of State Roads 2 and 49. It will encompass 82,881 square feet over two stories and is being constructed by Tonn and Blank Construction. The building will feature an ExpressCare center, primary care and specialty physician offices, as well as diagnostic imaging services including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and laboratory facilities.

The construction is expected to conclude by the end of 2026.
