Beecher Junior High School announced that the Beecher Junior High Bobcats lost to Minooka, 19-49, at their November 18 away game.
According to the school, the Bobcats were "drastically undersized" compared to the Minooka team. The Bobcats matched the Indians in the first two quarters but were bested in the second half. The Indians achieved a sizable lead that the Bobcats could not overcome.
The Bobcats had their first and only win of the season on November 6 against Momence with a final score of 54-18.
The Minooka game marked the second consecutive loss for the Bobcats. After the game, Spencer Fortson said, "You can only keep a Bobcat down for so long before they scratch and claw their way to the top again."
