Nearly 200 physicians from Franciscan Health have been recognized in the "Top Docs" list by Indianapolis Monthly magazine for 2024. The list, featured in the November issue, includes both employed and affiliated doctors from central Indiana.
The "Top Docs" compilation was conducted by Professional Research Services Company, based in Michigan. It involved a peer survey where physicians were nominated by their colleagues, considering their education and professional experience. Eligible participants included active physicians from central and south-central Indiana.
"We are honored and humbled to have another large group of our FPN and affiliated physicians named to the 'Top Docs' list again this year," said Christopher Doehring, MD, vice president of medical affairs for Franciscan Health Central Indiana. "We are very grateful to all of our physicians and staff who work tirelessly day in and day out to provide the best care possible to our patients."
The magazine's special section also featured a question-and-answer segment with Gregory Specht, DO, a family medicine doctor at Franciscan Physician Network CityWay Family Medicine. Dr. Specht offered his perspective on crucial healthcare advice for patients.
Franciscan Physician Network comprises nearly 400 primary and specialty care doctors along with advanced practice providers across more than 120 locations. Including affiliated doctors, over 900 physicians operate within Franciscan Health’s hospitals located in Indianapolis, Mooresville, Carmel, among other facilities.
