Ronald E Cockrell, 77, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at his daughter's residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane, but remarried and is survived by his wife, Sharon. Ronald is survived by his children, Max Cockrell and Veronica (Eric) Dix, and stepdaughter Unica (Raul) Alfaro. A loving grandfather to Jonathan, Max, Tiffanie, Annalise, and Darien, Ronald is also survived by siblings Dee Weddington, Paul (Karen) Cockrell, and Carroll (Flo) Cockrell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was known for his kindness, love for his family and country, and his great Dad jokes. Ronald's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Those wishing to offer condolences can send flowers or memorial gifts through the Sympathy Store dedicated to Ronald E Cockrell's family.
