Franciscan Health Indianapolis has been recognized as one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2025 by Healthgrades. This marks the third consecutive year that the hospital has received this distinction, making it the only hospital in Indiana to achieve this recognition from 2023 to 2025.

Lori Price, president and CEO of Franciscan Health Central Indiana, expressed gratitude for the honor. "We are honored and humbled to be recognized by Healthgrades again this year as one of the best 250 hospitals in the country," she stated. She attributed this achievement to the dedication of their medical staff and co-workers who strive daily to provide exceptional care.

Healthgrades based its rankings on patient outcomes, evaluating risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 common conditions and procedures across approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. The analysis highlighted significant performance differences between top-performing hospitals and others.

Brad Bowman, MD, chief medical officer at Healthgrades, praised Franciscan Health Indianapolis for its role in elevating healthcare standards. “As one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals, Franciscan Health Indianapolis is elevating the standard for quality care nationwide,” he said.
